Three burgers on the grill ot the right...one well done...two medium rae. Check. Steamed vegetables on the skillet...check. Tilapia and catfish to my far left...check. Full understanding of the cook time of each individual item as I prep the side dishes...check. Time management is essential. Know what you're doing when you're doing it and WHY you're doing it. Art requires focus, mastery of art understanding, and excellence in art requires both. Choose your path.

No More Online Sales...

In order to prevent the mix-ups that occur when two people buy exclusive rights on the same track on the same day, I've put an end to online music sales.  The songs will remain on the site for listening purposes, however, any artist interest in investing will need to come to the studio and fill out paperwork prior to the release of any music in the future.

Changes In Operating Procedure

Those of you who visit this page regularly may have noticed that many of the tracks on the player no longer have a price listed.  We've adopted these changes in order to allow greater flexibility in price negotiations which is a win for both the artist AND producer.  This also allows us to customize the terms of our agreement as well which give us more options than lease or exclusive rights.  If you do by chance hear something you're interested in investing in, contact me directly at:

The Importance Of Unbiased Feedback...

Every rapper needs feedback.  No matter how dope you think your new single is, your opinion is irrelevant if you plan on making money. You have to make what the people will invest in, and in order to have a clear cut view of that, you need UNBIASED feedback.  I know countless rappers who continue to waste money on studio time, tracks (it's cool if they get'em from me though) promotions, and all kinda other shit.  I've even seen dudes pay hundreds of dollars to perform in front of a "panel of A&R's" who are actually a couple of street niggas who devised a scheme to take your money and throw away your CD at the end of the day. These men are victims of BIASED feedback. Surround yourself with "YES MEN" and you may actually think you can fly by the end of the day.  What's necessary is to get your music into the hands of total strangers and see how they react.  If you have a friend that does music, do them a favor and keep it all the way 100 with them because their career (and your ears) hang in the balance.

4P's & a S .... Keys to Success in the Music Biz

 Progression, Production, Presentation, Promotion, & Sacrifice

Progression - that means whatever you do make sure that it is critical to the growth of your business and or talent in some way, shape, or form. Like reading your manuals, studying music business, marketing, or learning to play an instrument ...etc.
Those things will help you grow and give you better understand of the industry ...and ultimately contribute to the success of your ventures.

Production- making music.... you need to have material. Not only to showcase your talent ...but to gage growth. If there is no product, you have a problem.

You need material to pitch to folks ....so Produce!

Presentation - You have to present yourself and product in a professional manner. Remember that consumers love a nice looking package. That's how you draw attention to your product and or brand. Some people sell albums just off of cover art alone.

Then Promotion.... Your mouth ( no homo ) and the Internet are your biggest promotional tools.

Close mouth don't get fed .... get out there ... put your music out there .... Network... TALK.... if you don't do that ... let me tell you... you could well be the next QUINCEY JONES and no one will ever know, if they don't hear you or your work.

And Sacrifice... I've been there.... when I was sleeping in my car after I lost my house ... I was still making beats and writing songs... in my car ....I did that for 3 months.... I got a ton of sacrifice stories... but you can't be lazy in this game... and you got to make due with what you have.

There are no excuses.... the reason why you are not moving in the industry ...will 9 times out of 10 be because of you lacking in some of theses areas...... No one is perfect, but the closer you get... the better off you will be.


So let me beat it in your minds ....Progression, Production, Presentation, Promotion, and Sacrifice.

Music Mind Control...

I read this trippy article on how it's possible to plant into music, subliminal audio frequencies to persuade the listener feel confident, happy, motivated or whatever desired mental state.

Instead of how classical composers use to match melody or drums to heart rate or tempo, Top Producers now try to match brain tempos and patterns; yet again very subtle and something most would hardly notice something being altered in their music to make the person feel how he or she feels.

There is no simple formula as the elements in the world which cause these feelings are constantly changing and the potential itself is constantly changing. It seems to disappear and turn up on the other side of the world.

Music is a great medium to concentrate a psionic effect but just like the Hawthorn Effect, the stimulus and the result are near impossible to separate. You'll never know in any amount of fullness whether one being is causing this drug or whether the world itself is the catalyst, so its very hard to turn this into a compositional technique.

Everyone reacts to music in different manners and our response to this stimulus varies based upon our current mood and spiritual frequency.  Be constantly aware of these types of things and in time you can master the art of subconscious mind control using music and meditation.
